About The Position

The MAGIC team (Multi Account Governance in the Cloud) is a part of Amazon Security's Amazon Cloud Management Foundations (ACMF) group in the Secure Tools Foundation (STF) division. We own platforms and tools to deploy proactive security controls to Amazon-owned accounts. Our primary mission enables the use of AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (SCPs) as preventative security controls. We monitor internal accounts to ensure that every account has the correct proactice security controls in place. MAGIC also maintains and operates a suite of account metadata services which support other Tier 1 services. About the team Diverse Experiences Amazon Security values diverse experiences. Requirements

3+ years of engineering team management experience
7+ years of engineering experience
8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Nice To Haves

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
