This role combines technical leadership with strategic vision, focusing on modern development practices, cloud-native architectures, and AI-augmented workflows to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership roles
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring development teams of 5+ members
  • Demonstrated success driving organizational change and technical modernization
  • Strong track record of successful project delivery in corporate or enterprise environments
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and communication at all organizational levels
  • Expert proficiency in .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET Core) and modern web development
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (Angular, React, NextJS)
  • Deep expertise in Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps) or equivalent cloud platforms
  • Strong knowledge of modern API development (RESTful, GraphQL), microservices architecture, and containerization
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing)
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and best practices
  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with proven success in building high-performing collaborative teams
  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with practical implementation experience
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project portfolio management
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen to align technical decisions with organizational goals

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers and analysts, fostering professional growth and technical excellence
  • Drive successful delivery of custom web applications, data integrations, API development, system modernization projects, and mobile solutions
  • Champion adoption of AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, AI assistants) to increase productivity and code quality
  • Establish and maintain modern development standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices
  • Oversee and implement comprehensive DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives and optimize cloud-based applications (Azure and AWS)
  • Manage technical debt strategically through refactoring initiatives and modernization roadmaps
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex development projects
  • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and project portfolio prioritization
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Identify and mitigate technical and project risks through proactive planning
  • Advise IT leadership on technology trends, innovation opportunities, and strategic direction
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party integrations
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and security scanning
  • Implement metrics-driven development practices with KPIs for code quality, delivery velocity, and system reliability
  • Contribute code on custom web applications, integrations and API development projects
