We're a team of software engineers who focus on QE strategies to achieve a high bar of quality through automation and workflow enhancements. In this unique opportunity you will make an impact across a wide range of software engineering teams. You will lead a team responsible for driving the development and implementation of best practices for qualifying end-to-end features. Your team will also build novel software prototypes, tools, and applications for improving the quality of our operating systems. The Central Automation and Tools team is responsible for improving all facets of using automation in our QE workflows. This includes analyzing the workflows, data and tools that help teams make it an effective, efficient element of their testing strategy. We need a creative leader to help us explore and implement new technologies to continually improve our approach to achieving outstanding quality. You will work closely with other QE Managers and Automation Engineers across Apple to ensure we are putting the best ideas into our solutions. You will be part of all aspects of the development cycle from research, prototyping, development and shipping software to a large group of internal teams.
