SUMMARY Work with a Belmark mentor to design, develop, test and/or modify computer systems, programs and integrations. Will work on a specific, defined project using industry standard tools and development methodology.

Requirements

• Must be working towards a BS in computer science or a related field
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with users and peers.
• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript, Perl or Ruby.
• Ability to work on site at Belmark in De Pere WI.
• Ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and industry standard development practices
• Familiarity with SQL Server or MySQL database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Javascript
• Experience with HTTP communication between a client and server application

Responsibilities

• Design a solution to a specific project with the help of an experienced developer.
• Develop appropriate software solution to complete the project.
• Perform functional testing and document changes to existing business procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
