The Software Development Engineer in Test (Systems Analyst V) is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and maintenance of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) best practices and methodologies across the organization. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software solutions by defining and maintaining test strategies and plans, developing and executing automated and manual tests, and tracking key QA metrics. Working under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for independent judgment, this position coordinates closely with program teams, developers, and project managers to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support project delivery. The role involves both back-end and front-end testing for various applications, as well as performing exploratory testing in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Creates and maintains advanced QA documentation, test execution reports, and dashboards, while continuously recommending process improvements to enhance software quality and delivery efficiency.
