As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in Experian PowerCurve Strategy Design Studio
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle databases
• 3+ years of experience in hosting applications on Windows servers
• 3+ years of experience in COBOL programming language
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
• 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage application hosting on Windows Servers and scripting for Oracle DB.
• Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
