As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in AWS or Azure Cloud environment setup
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS Fargate).
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring WebFlux.
  • Knowledge of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with Kafka Streaming and Redis Cache.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop: Create and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services and Spring Boot, with proficiency in Java and/or Python.
  • Microservices Architecture: Design and implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • AWS Services: Utilize AWS ECS Fargate for container orchestration, AWS RDS for database management, and integrate Kafka Streaming and Redis Cache for real-time data processing and caching.
  • Service Integration: Implement service-to-service integration using Spring WebFlux for reactive programming.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Use AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement monitoring solutions using Splunk and Dynatrace to ensure the health and performance of applications.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and operational processes.
  • Security: Ensure that all applications and infrastructure adhere to security best practices.
