AWS End User Messaging is hiring a software engineer to help accomplish this
vision. We build and operate large scale messaging systems enabling developers
to reach their customers via WhatsApp, Push (Apple, Google), SMS, and Voice.
Chances are quite high you've received notifications that we've handled; we've
delivered notifications at scale on behalf of our customers for everything from
Prime Day, to COVID-19 test results, to major news events. Our newest channel,
End User Messaging Social (WhatsApp), launched in 2024 and we're continuing to
iterate and innovate as customer demand increases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Comfort and skill using GenAI to generate production-quality code and automated processes is preferred.
