Job Title Software Development Engineer What does a successful Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv? As a Software Development Engineer, you will be transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with programming in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
- Experience in SQL databases
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s Degree and related experience and/or military experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

- Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Miscrosoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
