About the Role: Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Software Development Engineer will gather and analyze requirements. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with software design, development, version control, testing, implementation, and debugging.
  • 1 year of experience with delivering high-quality, high-readability, and scalable software solutions
  • 1 year of experience with writing comprehensive test suites with optimal coverage
  • 1 year of experience with HTTP protocols, Git, JSON, Rest APIs, Postgres, SQL, and unit testing suits
  • 1 year of experience with React, Javascript, and Java.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test APIs, data storage solutions, and integration with third-party services.
  • Identify and fix issues or bugs.
  • Work with the team to quickly resolve problems and maintain system stability.
  • Deliver features and projects on time.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, discussing progress, challenges, and potential solutions with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest backend technologies, tools, and best practices, refining skills.
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from more senior engineers.
