About The Position

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience with programming in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
  • Experience in SQL databases
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree and related experience and/or military experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Miscrosoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
