About The Position

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in software development
Experience with programming in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
Experience in SQL databases
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
Experience with Agile methodologies
Bachelor’s Degree and related experience and/or military experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree
Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Miscrosoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
