About The Position

Amazon Advertising delivers billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily and is breaking fresh ground to create unique advertising experiences for hundreds of thousands of advertisers and shoppers globally. Our team, Multi Publisher Network, focuses on developing engaging advertising products for customers across different publisher experience. We're tackling a relatively new area for Amazon Advertising and building technology from the ground up. Key job responsibilities
In this role you will deal with mostly JVM-based backend services, React/JavaScript single-page applications, and various persistence technologies such as DynamoDB and ElasticSearch. This is a large initiative that spans across multiple existing and to-be-formed engineering and product teams within the Advertising organization.

About the team
We own building, launching, and commercializing innovative ad products and do not shy away from technical challenges. Our team is responsible for full-stack implementation and integration of new advertising products, which power the ad content. We utilize the latest in cloud technology to build out products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
