them. In this role, you will design and implement scalable software solutions,
leveraging GenAI-powered development tools, that enable millions of advertisers
to create more effective ad campaigns with intelligent recommendations, while
improving the shopping experience at Amazon's global scale.

discovery and sales. Our solutions generate billions in revenue and drive
long-term growth for Amazon Store businesses. We deliver billions of ad
impressions and millions of clicks daily, breaking fresh ground to create
world-class products through innovative engineering. As a Software Engineer,
you'll use GenAI and agentic AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code
quality, and solve complex technical challenges. We are a highly motivated,

commitment to engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience working with GenAI-powered development tools and agentic AI assistants (e.g., code generation, AI-assisted debugging, automated testing, and documentation tools) to enhance software development productivity and code quality

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable software systems that enhance product experiences, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers
• Own the complete lifecycle of software development and deployment, including system design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production services at scale
• Develop and implement scalable, automated solutions for complex technical challenges, including distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and user-facing applications across multiple business initiatives
• Contribute directly to critical system components, writing high-quality code that ensures engineering excellence in performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Design and execute experiments and analyses to evaluate software solutions, ensuring data-driven optimization and measurable impact on product metrics and user experience
• Apply software engineering best practices to your work, contribute technical insights to team discussions, and help drive innovation in system architecture and development methodologies
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions that align with product objectives and user needs
• Create technical documentation and effectively communicate system designs, implementation details, and project outcomes to both technical teams and stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with team members, and contribute to establishing engineering standards that promote code quality and team effectiveness
• Stay current with advancements in software engineering, cloud technologies, and development tools, identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies to solve real-world product challenges
