APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Perform end to end validation of a state of the art cellular modem. Develop test plans, perform functional testing and define all use cases for cellular features through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Work with network simulators and infrastructure drops using understanding of 3GPP standards and carrier test requirements for LTE/5G. Define and develop new test scenarios to exercise different aspect of 4G/5G cellular modem. Execute tests, analyze results and failures and identify issues and optimizations to improve user experience. Implement the test plan on specialized vendor platforms such as Keysight PRT or Anritsu Rapid Test Designer (RTD). Run the tests on a device under development. Analyze and debug issues based on test results and proposing solutions. Work cross-functionally with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol development, system test and carrier engineering teams to drive the improvement proposals and baseband optimizations.
