There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we run one of the largest networks in the world supporting the AWS Cloud globally. In order to manage this unimaginable scale, we are driving revolutionary changes to the way network infrastructure, particularly cabling, is planned, designed, ordered, and built. We put services and algorithms in place to control and manage the cabling lifecycle across all layers of the Amazon network, from top of the rack switches (TORs) to our internet and private backbone facing routers. This software ecosystem must be intelligent, scalable, and fault tolerant. Our vision is to ultimately have a touchless ordering and management system, and our Network Lifecycle Management (NLM) organization is responsible for building key services that will enable this vision. We are looking for an experienced engineer to help stand up a team to support our automation goals. The main focus of the team will be to design and own the fully automated cabling infrastructure planning and ordering system. This service is vital to support the scale at which AWS Data Centers operate and the speed at which we meet our customers' demands. It is a crucial step towards our vision of a truly self-managed and adaptive network. We are looking for smart, talented software engineers who want to get hands-on experience with fully automated hyperscale data center networks, cloud infrastructure, large-scale software deployments, algorithms, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures (SOA). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Development Engineer wanting to solve some of the hard problems associated with material ordering and management. No prior Networking experience required. In fact, we are looking for members with strong software services background to spearhead development of highly reliable, scalable services. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
