About The Position

ISHPI supports the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) by developing, modernizing, and enhancing its enterprise applications. We provide sustainment services by maintaining, securing, and supporting the applications. You will perform systematic, independent testing with focus on test automation You will create and maintain test plans, test procedures, test code, and test data You will collaborate closely with the software development team to identify, design, and implement automated test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria You will support integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines You will ensure all software components are unit tested, and follow test plans to conduct integration test, system test, regression test, and stress test for software releases You will coordinate and execute testing activities across multiple environments to support controlled releases You will follow an agile development methodology You will leverage Government‑approved Generative AI (GenAI) tools to support activities such as code analysis, documentation drafting, and automated test generation You will perform peer reviews of test cases You will provide release notes You will record test incidents, ensure that all are resolved, and provide test results You will ensure the team adheres to DMDC standards You will perform quality assurance audits and ensure that the team follows best practices for quality as specified in the Quality Assurance Plan and throughout the SDLC You will ensure the team has conducted code reviews throughout the development activity You will create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix You will conduct reviews of all created/updated documents before being delivered to the Government to ensure quality

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant software experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience creating and maintaining automated tests using testing tools
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a Government background investigation for position of trust.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or higher

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software projects for U.S. Federal government/DoD/DoW
  • Prior DMDC experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities
