Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. As a Software Engineer- Front end, you will play a vital role within a team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, significantly contributing to various spaceflight systems. You will be an integral member of an expert team supporting manufacturing by developing software platforms that facilitate real-time analysis and decision-making. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in front end development, including technologies like React, Python, FastAPI, AWS, Spring Boot, and Node.js, to develop and maintain complex software solutions. You will contribute to software development and optimization efforts, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal quality and performance of our systems. We continuously innovate in automating and accelerating product delivery using cutting-edge software and hardware technologies. By utilizing the latest AWS and GenAI platforms, we build distributed, highly available systems to achieve our objectives. You will report directly to the Smart Factory Senior Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with team members to fully understand and address their needs. In your role, you will also lead initiatives aimed at enhancing team productivity and creativity. As a development team member, your ability to innovate, provide direction for better user experience, and deliver efficient solutions is crucial to managing the entire development process.
