At Workday, we are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who is passionate about building exceptional user experiences. As a core member of our team at Flowise, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and interaction design of our platform. We highly value UI/UX, and you will contribute to the visual flow builder and chat interfaces, ensuring they are functional, intuitive, and delightful for users to work with. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and improving the user experience for the Flowise application, implementing features across our open-source, cloud, and enterprise versions, and collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements and implement effective solutions. You will also be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code, participating in code reviews, and proactively identifying and resolving issues within the user interface.

  • Design, develop, and improve the user experience for the Flowise application.
  • Contribute to the visual flow builder and chat interfaces, ensuring they are scalable and performant.
  • Implement features across our open-source, cloud, and enterprise versions.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues within the user interface.
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • A portfolio or body of work demonstrating experience in building complex, interactive user interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of frontend state management, component-based architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with backend development in the Node.js ecosystem, including knowledge of database schemas and data modeling.
  • Experience using testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
  • Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) is a plus.
