We are looking for an SDEII to join us in this exciting journey for Alexa as part of the Alexa Subscription Growth organization. Our team is dedicated to enhancing how customers discover, purchase, and utilize digital subscriptions and skills across a multitude of first-party (1P), second-party (2P), and third-party (3P) domains. This initiative is supported by the large language model (LLM) and Generative AI capabilities that we are developing within Alexa. The role involves creating experiences that span across various platforms, including Mobile Apps, Retail, and a variety of touchpoints on Echo Devices and Fire TV. A deep understanding of distributed systems is essential, as you will be designing performant services capable of handling thousands of transactions per second (TPS) of actual Alexa customer traffic. If you are passionate about working on projects that involve Generative AI and Machine Learning, we have exciting opportunities on our immediate roadmap! This is a multi-disciplinary role where you will collaborate closely with several Senior Software Development Engineers (SDEs), Product Engineers (PEs), Product Managers (PMs), and Scientists on a regular basis. You will be responsible for designing and delivering critical services for Alexa. While we are always busy making history, we also prioritize having fun, with activities such as summer picnics, bowling events, and attending training and seminars to support your growth.
