About The Position

The Software Development Engineer in AI Operations at Amazon is responsible for leading the development of new monitoring and observability services for Amazon CloudWatch Logs, a large-scale log management and analytics service. This role involves defining the direction of a strategic AWS service from its inception to General Availability (GA) and beyond, while ensuring performance and durability requirements are met. The engineer will work on creating and operating services that collect and store metrics at Internet scale, delivering critical capabilities to cloud users and embedding operational knowledge into the services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
