The AI Data Products - Data Services Apps team develops and operates highly reliable applications that serve Apple's diverse needs. We’re looking for curious, enthusiastic, and collaborative developers with a strong commitment to engineering excellence who can contribute across the full technology stack, including front-end, back-end, and APIs. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of several of the following: Fundamentals of system design, microservices architecture, and API development. Proficiency in Java and related technologies, including frameworks like Spring or Jakarta EE. Understanding of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks. Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, Oracle) and NoSQL data stores. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). The role also requires excellent communication and the ability to partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams, with a strong focus on delivering value to our users. The ability to work effectively with colleagues in different locations and mentor junior engineers is also important.
