Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable systems to responsibly access and process available information from the web.
Optimize the data processing architecture to ensure performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement robust systems to process content and extract meaning.
Develop data pipelines and infrastructure to deploy ML models which intelligently classify petabyte-scale datasets.
Work closely with scientists and other engineers to rapidly prototype and deploy new algorithms.
Write high quality, well-tested production code in languages like Python, spark, Java, Scala.
Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, in order to advance what’s possible in large-scale information processing.
