This entry-level position focuses on applying basic engineering principles to develop code, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community customers.

Requirements

0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Candidate must have three years in scientific programming and information systems management.
Candidate must have experience with Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
Candidates must be proficient in Visual Basic, Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server, and web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, SGML/XML, and PDF integration.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
Candidate must be based in or willing to commute to Philadelphia, PA.

Nice To Haves

Expertise in JavaScript and HTML for front-end development.
Experience in working with Oracle as a backend database.

Responsibilities

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
