Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. We are seeking a Software Developer to create and maintain internal software programs for our business. Candidates will work individually, and in teams to gather, document, and execute customer requirements for creation, modification and improvement of software in support of business operations. Additionally, candidates will assist in the maintenance of software infrastructure in collaboration with supporting teams.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and programming
• Experience with the software development cycle
• Experience executing output efficiently and in a timely manner
• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
• Competency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or related field
• Experience with ASP.NET with C# and Microsoft SQL Server versions 2008 to 2012
• Experience working with JQuery and JavaScript
• Experience with HTML, Linq and CSS
• Experience with Angular 18
• Experience with Bootstrap
• Experience with Agile development, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Cloud software solutions
• Experience with full stack development
• An understanding of database Views, Stored Procedures, Normalization, Indexing, and Triggers

Responsibilities

• Code and test programming for in-house software programs
• Debug code for existing applications
• Troubleshoot system bugs and issues
• Promote systems between local, development, test, and production environment
• Balance workday between multiple projects and respond immediately to support requests from staff
• Escalate issues and concerns immediately to Project Manager/Supervisor
• Participate in scrum and code reviews
