About The Position

The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs. This position is a software developer position primarily for iBASEt Solumina and the associated integration touch points This role may support a hybrid schedule of 2 days a week, at the discretion of management and based on business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution and 15 years related experience
Must have a valid US Driver's License.
Must understand relational database constructs, preferably Oracle.
Must be proficient in REACT, NEXTJs, or Angular.
Must have exposure containerization platforms, preferably OpenShift.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with JAVA, JavaScript, TypeScript and an IDE such as Eclipse, or VSCode is preferred.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for COTS configuration and extensions to capabilities.
Develop new and sustaining existing applications developed in Angular, JavaScript and REACT.
Development includes integration between systems and building data maps.
