About The Position

Constellation West is looking for a Software Developer to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs. The ideal candidate has ability to analyze user needs and develop software solutions, design software, and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Must also have the ability to analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Must demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities achieving sustainable quality products. Show a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering. Requirements

Clearance: TS/SCI
Location: Offutt AFB ONSITE
A high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience
A Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience
A Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 0 years of software development
A high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of software development experience
A Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years of software development experience
A Master of Science in a STEM field with 3 years of software development experience
Full Stack Software Development
Demonstrated experience in Java
Proven experience with Windows OS
Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle/PDBs) and SQL
Working knowledge of the Agile development processes
Familiarity with Test automation practices and tools (Integration testing, Unit testing, QFTest)
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams
Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results

Nice To Haves

Experience working in Agile software development environment.
Experience with Enterprise Database
DevOps / DevSecOps experience
Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) setting up Jenkins Builds
Software Security Tools such as SonarQube
Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (SVN/Bitbucket)
