We are seeking a Software Developer who will be a member of a dynamic team Air Traffic Management program - SkyLine-X™ SkyLine-X™ provides an array of advanced air traffic management capabilities to improve aircraft safety, performance, and efficiency across the world’s airspace. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for software development activities both individually and as a member of a SW team Actively participate in SW planning, statusing, and related team activities Analyze system requirements and apply appropriate design techniques and software engineering principles to develop code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant, and reusable Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Roo Code, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve productivity in coding, debugging, test generation, and documentation Critically evaluate, test, and refine AI-generated outputs, demonstrating sound judgment in identifying inaccuracies, edge cases, and security or performance concerns Develop and iterate on effective prompting strategies and workflows to improve consistency and efficiency when using AI tools Contribute to team best practices for responsible and effective use of AI-assisted development, including code review considerations and documentation standards Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex software issues, both independently and with team support Provide software process management and control throughout the development process and promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration to reduce maintenance costs
