About The Position

The Software Developer designs, builds, and supports applications, APIs, and integrations across business systems. This role operates with independence, delivering reliable code and contributing to architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands‑on software development experience
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, SQL, REST APIs or JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Experience developing test cases and test plans.
• Able to communicate effectively
• Flexible and adaptable with respect to learning and understanding new technologies.
• Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable applications and integrations using .NET, C#, SQL, REST, and cloud services.
• Own user story implementation from design through deployment.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and QA to determine solution requirements.
• Improve existing codebases through refactoring, optimization, and modernization.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing efforts.
• Contribute to technical design documentation and solution proposals.
• Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
• Recommend software improvements and upgrades.
• Manage and/or provide guidance to junior team members.
