About The Position

Managing a team of 5+ frontend and backend developers across multiple efforts
Following Agile/SCRUM methodologies, dual-hat coding responsibilities
Managing and mentoring junior software developers through coding guidance and code reviews

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, physics or similar disciplines
• Experience in Java software development in Windows and Linux environments
• Experience developing engaging and intuitive user interfaces
• Demonstrable OO design skills and use of design patterns
• Experience installing and configuring systems and frameworks
• Experience with IntelliJ, GIT, and Confluence
• Experience with JIRA tools for software spring planning
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow agile software engineering practices
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience being a Team Lead/Managing a software development team
• CI/DC DevOps experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level with Top Secret / SCI Eligibility

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Arduino programming
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with hardware-software integration (CAN bus, sensor APIs, etc.) a strong plus
• Experience developing client-server implementations is a plus
• Experience with the Atlassian product suite
• Experience with Maven, Spring, and JavaFX is a plus
• Experience with WinTAK plugin development
