About The Position

As a Software Developer (Business Analytics) at SITA, you will play a key role in transforming complex aviation data into actionable insights. You will contribute to the development of intelligent analytics solutions that support critical business decisions across borders operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will gain valuable experience in data-driven software development and analytics within the aviation industry.

Requirements

  • Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis tools.
  • Intermediate to advanced level SQL skills (Google big query preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in aviation industry business will be valued.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a bonus.
  • Some knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise statistical methods and data visualisation tools to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Collecting and analysing data, including cleaning, validating and interpreting data from a variety of sources.
  • Conducting quantitative data analysis to identify patterns.
  • Using statistical and data visualisation techniques to present findings.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing existing processes and proposing innovative solutions to align with our strategic direction.
  • Follow best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and incorporate relevant innovations.
