Requirements

• Proven software development experience, with a portfolio of personal and/or professional projects.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools, frameworks, and trends—from prompt engineering to building practical AI agents.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, OOP principles, databases (SQL/document/vector), and AWS.
• Ability to rapidly prototype and deliver results in weeks, not months.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a 'builder' mindset—comfortable saying, 'I could do that in a weekend,' and then delivering.
• Experience collaborating across teams, gathering requirements, and translating them into practical solutions.
• Integrity, cultural fit, and a team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Developing custom internal software solutions that solve process inefficiencies and create measurable business improvements.
• Rapidly prototyping and iterating—from concept to delivery—using our core stack: Languages/Frameworks: TypeScript, React; Databases: SQL, document-based, vector databases; Cloud Infrastructure: AWS.
• Partnering with leaders across departments to identify opportunities for high-impact tools.
• Building intelligent solutions such as AI-based copy review tools, automated report-generation systems, smarter compensation and planning applications, and AI-powered chatbots and agents for data access.
• Playing a key role in finishing high-priority projects like our AI data chatbot by year-end.
• Exploring and applying the latest AI development tools, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and context engineering to maximize business impact.
• Contributing to the culture of curiosity, innovation, and integrity that defines Trove Brands.
