Leidos Civil Transportation Solutions is seeking a Software Development Engineer who will be part of a dynamic team working on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ERAM Adaptation Data Processing (EADP) Application which is part of En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) program. ERAM is a major FAA system used in the US for air traffic control in en route (high-altitude) airspace providing advanced capabilities for tracking aircraft, processing flight plans, controller tools like conflict alerts and weather integration, and handling high volumes of aircraft simultaneously and efficiently. ERAM EADP provides management of adaptation data integrating published flight data such as fixes, airports, airways, departure procedures, and standard terminal arrival procedures with locally managed data entered by the user and computed data such as facility boundaries, buffered boundaries and other data derived via various algorithms.
