Peraton is seeking a Software Developer to be a part of CFTC Data Engineering and Architecture team. This position is Hybrid, Must be local to the CFTC DC office, able to work in the office 3 days a week What you will do: Design and develop cloud-native solutions. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment using current cloud capabilities. Develop Databases, Data Warehouses and the ETL applications and infrastructure necessary to populate them. Troubleshooting and performance tuning services in development, test and production environments Maintain document and diagram cloud solutions, gathering requirements to support the platform and systems Extend, bug fix and maintain code to meet user requirements/issues. Maintain Stored-procedures, Views, and SSIS packages to address users’ requests and concerns. Do root-cause analysis for users’ questions/concerns. Communicate with business user groups and stakeholders to understand requirements, present work and trouble shoot. Critical thinker with ability to connect the dots of technical work to big picture plan.
