Air vehicle Planning System (APS) is to provide Future Software Development Support for the Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN) at United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM).
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
May supervise others.
Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for various applications.
Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.
May design embedded systems software.
Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++)
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and principles.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or other related field
