This position works out of our Charlottesville, VA or Lake Forest, IL in the Cardiometabolic and Informatics facility. As the Software Developer - Simulation Engineer III, you will have the chance to provide software development services by building and coding additional functionality and upgrade of proprietary software: a diabetes simulator which can perform clinical protocols on virtual subjects and analyze output data to produce meaningful reports that will guide Abbott Diabetes Care and other researchers in device and control algorithm development.
