Trilogy Innovations is seeking Senior Software Developers to remotely support our federal customer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our federal customers' large-scale IT systems. This role requires at least Secret Security Clearance, and primary work location is remote. This position can be on the on-call list one (1) week out of every four (4) weeks. On-call personnel will acknowledge contact for on-call assistance (phone call, text, etc.) within fifteen (15) minutes of the contact. On-call personnel shall be within a reasonable distance of their provided secure laptop and shall log into their secure laptop and begin assessing/diagnosing/troubleshooting the request for on-call assistance within sixty (60) minutes of the contact.

  • Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
  • Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
  • Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
  • Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
  • Designs embedded systems software.
  • Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
  • Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
  • Java (OOP) Full Stack Development with proficiency programming in Java.
  • Experience with Containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Ability for on-call support.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka.
  • Pub/Sub (Publish, subscribe).
  • Streaming experience.
  • Event sourcing.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) is a plus.
