CSRA State and Local Solutions LLC has multiple openings for the position of Software Developer Senior (Ref# SDS512SB). Work Location: 150 Broadway, Menands, NY 12204. Position may telecommute/work remotely 80% of the time. Job Duties: Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software on a multi-tier architecture including service-oriented architecture, multi-tier web applications, using Java, and various other COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) software products, for the Health Exchange systems / applications. Build, code, test, and maintain highly complex, high-volume, large scale, scalable, maintainable, and extensible software on a Java/J2EE application stack using full software development life-cycle (SDLC) methodology from concept, design, and documentation to testing, ensuring specification compliancy and adhering to coding standards. Analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and assign with the design of software systems to meet those needs. Perform all phases of the SDLC. Create a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application. Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs. Provide analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status. Advise on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates. May serve as a team or task lead. Document code consistently throughout the development process.
