About The Position

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. As a Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design. You will evaluate and review C++ language code, develop parallel processes, threading, and process communication, and develop web-based applications using development technology. You will collaborate with team members to design future enhancements and develop software for an advanced synthetic training environment. Additionally, you will support software development, software integration, customer training, and demonstrations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 10 years of C++ experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
