About The Position

The Software Developer Intern position at Linde Inc. offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in software development while collaborating with data scientists and software developers. This 2-year internship program is designed to tackle challenging technical problems and engage with business leaders, potentially leading to full-time employment upon completion.

Requirements

• Working towards a B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
• Enrolled in sophomore or junior year of study for Spring 2025 semester.
• Availability to work 15 hours per week during spring/fall semesters and 40 hours per week during other periods.
• Work commitment through completion of undergraduate degree.
• Python programming experience.
• Availability to travel up to 25% (travel will not occur during school year).
• Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to relational database systems and SQL.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and architectural principles for data movement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to create analytics and optimization products supporting data-driven business decisions.
• Support, maintain, and enhance existing Digital Americas software platforms.
