The Leidos Digital Modernization Group is seeking an Integration Engineer with a robust background in Software Development to join the Enterprise Situational Awareness/Common Operational Picture (SA/COP) Team. This role is pivotal in integrating various data sources into Confluent (Kafka) and Elastic platforms, developing comprehensive integration solutions, and contributing to data governance practices. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Kafka, cloud platforms, and full software lifecycle automation, with a proven track record in deploying and managing systems across multi-site, multi-cluster environments. As part of the Leidos Digital Modernization Sector, the Integration Engineer will engage in a diverse portfolio of systems, solutions, and services that span land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace for customers worldwide. The solutions provided for Defense include enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support. The team is dedicated to addressing the world's most challenging security issues for clients with critical missions. The Joint Management Tool (JMT) is designed to enhance the planning, deployment, trouble management, and decommissioning of both deployed and non-deployed Satellite Communications (SATCOM) resources, particularly those supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), mission partners, and international allies. By implementing automated workflows and dynamic user interfaces, the JMT system aims to streamline business processes and significantly mitigate the recurrence and impact of human error, serving as a cohesive platform for SATCOM planners, provisioners, operators, and customers to coordinate SATCOM requests seamlessly. As a key member of the SA/COP team, the Integration Engineer will collaborate within a fast-paced, Agile development environment to architect, design, and develop integration solutions that ensure a unified data integrated platform, expanding the foundational Integrated Data Architecture platform (Confluent and ELK platform). The role involves working closely with a dedicated scrum team to meet operational end-user and support team requirements.
