As a Software Developer in Test Intern, you will play a key role in driving our mission critical applications and services related to our trading platforms to the next level. Within our agile development process, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the end users, product owners and software developers to gain a deeper understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria. Summary of Job Functions Perform duties as an individual contributor and/or team member with 100% hands-on work Review related software documents such as requirements, use cases and end user interactions to formulate test objectives Plan, design, develop/write/execute test cases/scripts based on requirements choosing the appropriate testing methodology Record, report, and verify software defects to accurately depict the software requirements Work closely with Software Engineering team toward the reporting and resolution of design issues and/or software defects Work closely with Quality Engineers in developing experience in automated testing Assist in planning by estimating and identifying dependencies Setup and execute test scenarios using a mix of manual and automated techniques

Requirements

  • Pursuing BS in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++/ C# / .Net / Python
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in writing and interpreting SQL queries
  • Desires to seek continuous improvement in all aspects of quality assurance (workflow, testing, tools)
  • Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, Florida office (not a remote role)

Responsibilities
