This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days. Our team develops on the Rental Details Page and the Search map, two of the highest traffic page types for Redfin.com. Our full-stack team builds highly visible consumer facing UI as well as robust data ingestion pipelines and data services. By joining our team, you'll have a chance to work on features that get seen by millions of users and work on multiple critical platforms and services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full stack software development experience specifically in React and Java.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle ambiguity, and empathize with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, resilient, scalable, and high-quality software using React, Java, AWS, and various other tools/libraries.
• Balance the trade-offs between complex infrastructure investments and quick, pragmatic solutions to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate with other engineering and product stakeholders to define, design, and develop projects.
• Mentor and guide other junior engineers.
