The team is dedicated to bringing entirely new migration types to market, from Teams private chats to Slack conversations to mailbox migrations. As a developer on this team, you'll help shape how organizations handle some of their most sensitive data migrations, while contributing to a modern, high-quality codebase. A typical week? You'll contribute across the full product development lifecycle: Exploring new migration workloads through research, prototyping, and API investigation, using AI tools to accelerate discovery and reduce time spent on boilerplate. Delivering incremental improvements to recently shipped migration capabilities. Collaborating daily with your teammates and product partners through standups, design discussions, and async communication. Sharing knowledge with the broader ShareGate Migrate engineering organization as the team uncovers new technical patterns. What does the tech stack look like? C# / .NET Framework / .NET Standard WPF Microsoft Graph SDK / MSAL / EWS PowerShell 5/7 You'll join a focused team of developers working directly with a Product Manager and Product Designer. The team is responsible for expanding ShareGate into migration workloads that matter most to our customers, beyond what ShareGate has traditionally covered. You'll be part of the broader ShareGate Migration department, a collaborative network of teams with access to staff developers for technical guidance and cross-team alignment. The team operates with a strong bias toward rapid ideation and self-driven experimentation. You won't wait to be handed a solution, you'll be expected to form hypotheses, run quick proofs of concept, and bring your findings back to the team. AI-assisted development is a core part of how the team works, not an afterthought. You'll be expected to bring hands-on experience with AI coding tools and a mindset oriented toward getting the most out of them. What are the next challenges awaiting your team? Bringing new migration workloads to market. Establishing reusable technical patterns and foundations that make it faster to ship each new migration type. Balancing active feature delivery with exploratory, discovery-heavy nature of tackling entirely new workloads.
