About The Position

KENT WORLDWIDE ™ is seeking a Software Developer II who specializes in Azure to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based integration solutions using Azure Functions and Logic Apps. This role focuses on creating middleware solutions to integrate ERP systems with various supporting systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. Previous experience with ERP systems is a plus. This role will include duties for development in Microsoft’s ERP, D365, for which on the job training will be provided. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in C# .NET with Microsoft Azure; cloud to cloud, on premise to cloud, or cloud to on premise
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure APIM, REST, SOAP APIs and associated data platform solutions
  • Proficiency in Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, SQL Database, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Insights, etc. (bonus if you can list any).
  • General understanding of Azure Security Center, Firewall, Networking, Policy, Log Analytics, and private endpoints.
  • Experience working with HashiCorp’s Terraform
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git
  • Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented (OO) software development methodologies
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with project management process methodologies.
  • Experience with database structure, design techniques, and knowledge of resolving database problems.
  • Experience with development tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and system requirements.
  • Advanced ability to evaluate technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to multitask with a sense of urgency in a fast paced, autonomous environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and conceptual skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a computer related discipline, 3+ years of relevant experience, or the combined equivalent.
  • Able and willing to work extended hours as may be required to support existing applications and to meet delivery dates for new or revised software.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-204) preferred; AZ-305 would be a bonus
  • Experience in integrating ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) with other applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews business requirements and functional specifications and participate in the creation of technical specifications and solutions.
  • Complete development tasks that meet technical specifications and end-user requirements.
  • Create and execute unit, function, and performance tests to improve application quality and ensure fulfillment of requirements.
  • Diagnoses and resolution of issues in new or existing code.
  • Participate in peer code reviews.
  • Utilize source control methodology to ensure security and traceability.
  • Assists in development and maintaining of standards.
  • Build working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Provide Tier 2 & 3 support
