As a Software Developer II in Pathology Informatics, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that directly support healthcare and clinical workflows.   • Design, document, code, and test software applications for clinical and pathology informatics systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, analysts, and clinicians to gather feedback and refine solutions.

  • Recommend improvements to streamline workflows and optimize development approaches.
  • Translate clinical and operational problems into innovative software solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other developers as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to healthcare software development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development; specialized experience in iOS/Android, bioinformatics software, or ServiceNow may be required depending on the team.
  • Experience managing and analyzing clinical, bioinformatics, or research data is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes, continuous integration, and software deployment best practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, FASTAPI, SQL, NodeJS, and jQuery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into functional software.
