This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days. The Data Integrity and Management team builds integrations, infrastructure pipelines and tools to import key MLS, Property, Schools and School Ratings, climate data as well as other inventory data that have made Redfin the most trusted real-estate site in the US. The Role As a Software Engineer you will work on Redfin’s data ingestion platform creating new data pipelines and tooling to help keep Redfin’s inventory updated faster and higher quality than our competitors. You'll build products and tools that drive some of the company's most critical metrics and impact revenue growth. We are helping create the best possible home buying or selling experience, one feature at a time. You will work with spatial and shape data and integrate lat/long data within these shape files. You will develop large scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases You will build tooling to help monitor, maintain and update essential data.

Requirements

• You are a seasoned developer with 3+ years of experience developing full-stack data ingestion platforms.
• You have experience developing large scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases - we utilize Kafka, Java, Python, Postgres, SQL, K8s, Jenkins, and Airflow in AWS.
• You have built tooling to help monitor, maintain and update essential data
• You have experience using AI code generation tools tools such as GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• You’re curious and a life-long learner: you’re willing to take risks and champion new ideas.
• You will exercise thought leadership in designing, architecting, and implementing solutions for difficult challenges faced by your partner teams
