About The Position

The Software Developer I position at MIRATECH involves developing moderately complex software applications primarily using C# and other selected programming languages. The role emphasizes adherence to coding standards and software development methodologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited technical school, college, or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proficiency in developing moderately complex software in C# or other selected languages.
• Mastery of relevant software engineering tools, including source control systems, build processes, and debuggers.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies, including SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Microsoft ASP.NET Core MVC, and other web development applications and tools.
• High degree of proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to capture and document software requirements and specifications.
• Proven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to produce high-caliber deliverables on a short timeframe.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop moderately complex software in C# or other selected languages for MIRATECH products and applications.
• Follow MIRATECH's coding standards and applicable software development methodologies.
• Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers throughout the software development process.
• Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques.
• Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective actions for identified problems.
• Collaborate professionally with other MIRATECH associates in cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Apply a sense of urgency and commitment to prioritize and develop solutions in a timely manner.
