About The Position

The Software Developer position at Halliburton Digital Solutions involves developing innovative applications that process real-time data for oil field service operations. Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, along with 2 years of related experience, or 6 years of related software development experience.
• Excellent communication skills with executive presence.
• Proficiency in understanding concurrency and multithreading.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in Desktop and Web-based application development.
• Ability to implement REST API Endpoints.
• Knowledge of container systems (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Linux.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Git, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
• Proficiency in using .NET Core to deliver projects.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with APIM, ADO, and ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define system scope and objectives for developing or modifying engineering applications.
• Select and implement technologies, design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering systems applications.
• Develop test strategies for automated regression testing of systems.
• Engage in projects of moderate scope and complexity, contributing to the development of assignments and schedules.
