About The Position

Requirements

• You know HTML, CSS and [Java|Type]Script like the back of your hand
• Detail focused, critical thinking and stellar problem-solving skills
• Self-directed and high agency
• Vast experience writing testable, self-documenting code
• Experience with modern front-end web stacks (e.g. React, Vue, AlpineJS, Angular, Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs

Nice To Haves

• Strong written and verbal communications
• Can explain technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences alike

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and improve various aspects of our portal's user experience
• Implement a new page or report design based on a mock-up from our designer
• Fix some weirdness with webpack to get the build moving again
• Make a difference to help our company mission to secure a million people
• Identify gaps in processes and tasks and work to fill them
