About The Position

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for Software Engineers in a variety of roles to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems assisting in the defense of our nation. We have roles for Engineers to work individually or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Entry Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and no or minimal experience (or 4 years of relevant experience can qualify).
• Basic Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Mid-Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Level - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and 12 years of relevant experience.
• A Master’s degree in computer science or relevant field can substitute for 4 years of experience.
• Additional years of experience may substitute for the Bachelor's requirement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Work individually or as part of a team.
• Participate in an Agile software development environment.
• Utilize modern tools like Gitlab for DevSecOps.
• Work in a Linux based development environment using tools like vscode.
• Engage in backend development and scripting using languages like C++, Python, and JAVA.
• Design web-based user interfaces and craft user experiences using Javascript, Vue.js, etc.
• Build applications in a microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Use databases and manage large datasets with MongoDB or SQL.
